Maria Reynolds-Weir lives in the heart of the Rust Belt. She is a freelance writer, local columnist, academic researcher and English Language Arts teacher. She covers topics to improve quality of life, including travel, housing, education, democracy, education, equality, health, caregiving and community. She earned her MFA from Chatham University - Pittsburgh. In her spare time, she travels, takes long morning runs, whips up delicious vegan dishes, and spends time with family.
