ST. LOUIS — Quillt, a St. Louis-based digital media company, is renaming and rebranding one of its flagship website brands – Seasons – to Seasons.
While the previous name provided a solid foundation, the company realized future growth required a slightly new focus—one that better reflected the site’s audience and the value the company hoped to provide.
“Our commitment to caregivers hasn’t wavered, but our new name will hopefully encompass more of what we’re about—serving as a portal to everything caregivers need to navigate the overwhelming and often intimidating role of caring for an older adult while also caring for themselves,” said Kasey Grelle, CEO. “We understand many of our readers may be simultaneously managing the care of parents, extended family, children and more—and we want to be there for them through it all.”

As Seasons, the site will serve as a resource for caregivers of older adults—providing direction, support and optimism during a transitional time in their lives. From vital medical news and the latest drug developments to practical self-care tips and senior-specific recipes, Seasons will continue to publish informative, trustworthy articles – covered with the perspective of a caregiver and the input of industry experts – to arm and empower readers as they face both the daily responsibilities of caregiving and the broader questions of aging.
The site has grown in scope and services over the last year by expanding the range of topics covered, adding a panel of prestigious industry experts to answer reader questions, and launching a local directory of caregiving and senior resources (senior transportation, meal delivery, elder law, etc.) to help caregivers find the help they need for their loved one, when and where they need it.
“We know caregiving and the aging process can be overwhelming, isolating and even scary at times; yet, these same experiences can also be deeply rewarding,” said Matt Smithmier, editor-in-chief of Seasons. “This new name and focus will allow us to continue to serve as a steadfast partner for caregiving journey while better connecting them to the resources and information they need.”
Seasons is supported by three employees and 13 freelance writers (based around the country), and is supported by development, design, data and production services as part of Quillt.
