Aging-in-place design modifications are focused on making homes more comfortable for individuals who are older and may face some mobility, flexibility, or dexterity problems, or other issues. These modifications help homeowners continue to live longer in the homes they love. Aging-In-Place design typically includes some ADA modifications, such as door levers and facet handles, more accessible cabinets, and bathroom alterations. The Gridley Company believes homes should be designed for their residents, regardless of age or physical/medical circumstances. As a result, we offer homeowners with special design needs the special expertise they require, including services are for individuals who have mobility limitations, special health needs or age-related needs. Generally, we can meet these special needs through ADA, Aging-In-Place, Universal design or Healthy Home design modifications.
