The National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) is the largest and most respected organization representing the interests of the nation's more than 35,000 home care and hospice organizations, their more than 2 million nurses, aides and therapists and the 14 million patients they serve annually. Founded in 1982, as the unified voice for home care and hospice industry, NAHC represents community, municipal, state owned, church and hospital affiliated entities, and visiting nurse nonprofit organizations as well as for-profit corporations from small to large corporate chains.
